Learn the Art of Painting | Starry Night Gallery, Daytona Beach

Discover the essentials of painting, including sketching, composition, perspective, paint selection, brush selection, brush strokes, color mixing, values, and much more. Choose between oils or acrylics.  Perfect for beginners eager to start painting or intermediate painters looking to deepen their skills. 

 

What to Bring:

  • For the first session, only a pencil, paper, and eraser are required.

  • Painting begins in the second session. Materials needed will be discussed during the first session.

  • Students are responsible for supplying their own materials.

Duration: 4 weeks. 3 hours each session.

Skill Level: All levels are welcome

A local artist, holds a BA from Grinnell College, Iowa, an MA from the University of Iowa, and an Advanced Certificate in Secondary and Continuing Education.

 

With teaching experience at the high school and junior college levels, as well as in workshops and private lessons, Trish brings a wealth of knowledge to her classes.
