My Story
Italian-born Contemporary Pop Artist
Ettore Bechis is an Italian-born contemporary Pop artist and painter based in Palm Coast, Florida. His work reflects a dynamic fusion of European artistic tradition and American visual culture, expressed through bold imagery, strong composition, and a distinctive contemporary style.
Born in Turin, Italy, Ettore grew up in a creative environment and began his artistic career as a set designer for television and live productions. This early experience developed his understanding of visual storytelling, scale, and dramatic composition—elements that continue to influence his paintings today.
In 2014, Ettore moved to the United States under an O-1 visa for artists and later became a permanent resident. After building a successful artistic career in Miami Beach, he founded Overlord Tattoo Studio & Art Gallery, where he works as both a professional tattoo artist and fine artist.
Deeply rooted in the language of contemporary Pop Art, Ettore’s paintings combine cultural symbols, American iconography, and emotionally charged imagery. His work explores themes of identity, memory, nostalgia, and the visual impact of popular culture. His background as a tattoo artist is evident in the precision of his linework, strong contrasts, and attention to detail.
Through his paintings, Ettore seeks to transform familiar cultural elements into powerful visual statements that resonate with both collectors and contemporary audiences. His work continues to evolve through large-scale pieces and gallery exhibitions, expanding his presence in the American contemporary art scene.
